Japanese guitarist and songwriter Cloud has released his latest single, In My Dream, now available on all streaming platforms. Collaborating with Luis Gerardo Moreno on guitar and Alex DP on drums, Cloud delivers a rock track that’s both dynamic and emotionally resonant.
In My Dream unfolds across three sections, with the guitar gradually building and intensifying at key moments, creating a sense of tension and release. Lyrically, the song navigates the space between dreams and reality, exploring how someone exists in your thoughts versus who they truly are. Cloud captures the push and pull of these emotions, reflecting both the uplifting and darker sides of dreams their power to elevate us, as well as the potential to bring us down.
The song also draws influence from Nirvana, particularly in the use of contrasts between stillness and movement, adding depth and texture to the arrangement. Moreno’s intricate guitar work and Alex DP’s driving drums enhance the track’s energy, creating a powerful trio that makes an immediate impact.
With In My Dream, Cloud continues to impress, delivering a rock single that’s as introspective as it is intense, blending emotional storytelling with compelling musicianship.
